These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Looper Golf iOS application (the "App") provided by Parity Golf AB ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Sweden. By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission.
2. Account Registration
To access most features you must create an account using an email address and password, or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at paritygolfab@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
Looper Golf offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. The following terms apply to paid subscriptions:
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store on a recurring basis (monthly or as otherwise stated at the time of purchase).
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will give reasonable notice before any price change takes effect.
To restore a previously purchased subscription on a new device, use the Restore Purchases option in the App's Settings screen.
4. Free Trial / Teaser Access
We may offer a limited-time trial of Pro features. At the end of any trial period, Pro features will be locked unless you subscribe. No charge is made until a paid subscription is purchased.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
- Use the App to transmit any unlawful, harmful, or offensive content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its backend systems.
- Share your account credentials with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorisation.
- Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.
6. AI Coaching Disclaimer
The coaching advice, swing analysis, and club recommendations provided by the App are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended for informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional golf instruction. We make no representations or warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content for your specific situation.
Always use your own judgement when applying any advice, and consult a qualified PGA professional for personalised instruction.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, software, trademarks, and other intellectual property in the App are owned by or licensed to Parity Golf AB. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
You retain ownership of the golf performance data you import into the App (e.g. launch monitor CSV files). By uploading data you grant us a licence to process and store it solely to provide the App's features to you.
8. Coach in the Loop
The Coach in the Loop feature allows you to connect with a golf coach who can view your performance data and send coaching materials. By connecting with a coach you consent to sharing your session data with that coach. You may disconnect from a coach at any time through the App's settings. We are not responsible for the content or quality of advice provided by third-party coaches.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Parity Golf AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Swedish or EU law.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe you are misusing the App. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at paritygolfab@gmail.com. On termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 7, 9, 10, 12, and 13 survive termination.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable EU or local consumer protection law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
